We live over an hour away from here and it is worth the drive every time!! The owner is very friendly and everything is made to perfection. The marinade on the meats are always consistent and they have the best kimchi I’ve ever had!

JK Korean BBQ is hands down my absolute favorite restaurant. The staff feels like family to me and my girlfriend — they’re always so warm, welcoming, and make every visit feel special. The quality of the meat is incredible — always fresh, tender, and perfectly marinated. The restaurant itself is spotless, and the atmosphere is just right — lively but comfortable. And the sauces and sides? Easily the best I’ve ever had at any KBBQ spot. Everything from the kimchi to the dipping sauces is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. JK Korean BBQ sets the bar high — once you eat here, it’s hard to go anywhere else!

It was so clean, the host or owner was so very kind. Food was delicious. We definitely will return. And I told others they should try it.

I have been living in Milledgeville for a little over a year. And JK BBQ is by far my favorite place- the food, service, and atmosphere is always spectacular! I recommend it to anyone who has or hasn’t had it. They have such a variety of different flavors from spicy to sweet. I have tried almost if not everything on the menu and it is a real fight trying to pick what I want. They do not make it easy because everything is neck to neck to being my favorite. The atmosphere and staff definitely does their part delivering a clean and friendly service! And I never can leave without finishing my plate.

The restaurant was nearly empty when I arrived, which felt like a mistake, by the public, not the kitchen. This place should have a line out the door. I’d expect a 1–2 hour wait based on the caliber of service and the sheer attention to detail. The staff here doesn’t just serve food; they teach. It was our first time, and they walked us through the experience without condescension. They offered recommendations, explained pairings, and showed us how to grill, wrap, and dip. One standout moment: I asked if the dish could be made spicier, and the owner personally prepared a custom version for me, on the house. That level of care is rare. The bell system at the table is subtle genius. Press it, and a server arrives without delay. No waving. No awkward eye contact. Just responsive service when you need it. The servers were attentive and warm, answering every question we had with patience and enthusiasm. Food? Outstanding. The meats were well-marinated and grilled cleanly. The banchan selection was vibrant and varied, from crisp pickled vegetables to perfectly balanced sweet bean sprouts. Portions were generous without being overwhelming. The adjacent market sealed the experience. Fully stocked with snacks, drinks, and imported goods, it felt like an extension of the meal rather than a tacked-on feature. JK Korean BBQ isn’t flashy. It doesn’t need to be. What it offers is better: genuine hospitality, skillfully prepared food, and a full sensory experience that respects your time, your appetite, and your curiosity.

Both me and my partner came here because our first Korean bbq experience was 3hrs away including newnan, which was good, when we came here the man who served us explained us how Korean food was supposed to be eaten, like they give you your food and then leave, he took the time to show us how to eat and and how to switch it up and when I tell you it blew our minds. As someone who don’t really like vegetables and such that changed 100% I mean everything went together so well! We also checked out the convenience store connected to it and we bought about bunch of cool stuff no other stores had! And they also had a ramen cooking station! 1000% recommendation

A true hidden gem! My parents brought me here for my birthday, and it did not disappoint. The K-BBQ was absolutely delicious every bite was packed with flavor! On top of that, they surprised us with a free Melona ice cream which was such a fun touch. The owner truly sets this place apart he’s incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely wants every guest to have a great experience. You can tell he cares about both the food and the people. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing place! The owner is very kind. I lived in Seattle for several years and just moved from Orlando. The meat is delicious and they have all the typical Korean banchan. They have a Korean store attached to the store. This kbbq is authentic and worth the try. I highly recommend for anyone who’s never had kbbq.
